At the Haryana Agricultural Management & Extension Training Institute (HAMETI), we believe in the continuous improvement of our training programs through a robust and comprehensive evaluation system. This system is designed to assess both the performance of our trainees and the effectiveness of each training program.

Knowledge Assessment

To measure the knowledge acquisition of our trainees, we employ a 'Pre- and Post-Test' method. This involves administering a specially developed questionnaire for each course at the beginning and at the end of the training program. The difference in scores helps us calculate the 'Knowledge Gain' factor, which quantifies the learning achieved during the course.

Participant Feedback

Trainees are invited to provide feedback on the training they receive using the 'Participant's Evaluation Proforma'. This feedback form asks trainees to rate and comment on various aspects of the training, including:

Expectations versus gains achieved during the training.

Relevance and coverage of the topics taught, including suggestions for topics to be added or removed in future sessions.

Suggestions for overall improvements in the training program.

Willingness to participate in future trainings of their choice. This feedback is invaluable in helping us refine our programs and ensure they meet the needs and expectations of our participants.

Resource Person Evaluation

Additionally, the performance of our resource persons is evaluated based on their session delivery. This evaluation uses a Five Point Continuum Rating Scale, allowing us to assess the effectiveness of each instructor and continuously enhance the quality of instruction.

The insights gained from these evaluations are critical to our ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and impact of our training programs. By systematically assessing both the educational outcomes and the delivery mechanisms, we ensure that HAMETI remains a leader in agricultural education and training in Haryana.
